1. A catalogue of the superlatively fine collection of pictures, late the property of the Right Reverend Dr. Newton, Lord Bishop of Bristol, dec. : amongst which are some of the best works of the Italian school, formerly purchased for his Lordship by that well known connoisseur, Dr. Bragg, at the sale of the celebrated collection of the late Cardinal Ottoboni at Rome, including a valuable assemblage of Dutch and Flemish pictures, the property of a Gentleman going abroad : also a most capital Descent from the Cross, by Vandyck, and other first-rate performances, collected in Spain, by Richard Cumberland, Esq : likewise that chef d'oeuvre, representing the death of Chatham, with the portraits of several peers and members of the house of commons, painted by J.S. Copley, Esq. R.A. together with forty-two capital pictures just imported from abroad, and several more, some being brought to sale in conformity to the will of a nobleman, and others being the property of different gentlemen : which will be exhibited and sold (by private contract) by a committee appointed for that purpose, at the Great Rooms, late the Royal Academy, No. 125, Pall Mall, on Tuesday, April 8, 1788, and following days (Sundays excepted) till about the middle, or latter end of May following, from nine o'clock in the morning till seven in the evening.

2. Particulars, and conditions of sale, of several very valuable manors, advowsons, and freehold estates ... consisting of the extensive manors of Northington, Totford, Swarraton, and Godsfield, the Grainge Manor, and Lordship of Serveton otherwise Swarroughton; and the noble and superb mansion called the Grainge, ... and the very desirable Manor of Bradley, ... also, the advowson of the rectory of Bradley, ... which will be sold by auction, by Mr. W. 3. A catalogue of a truly capital and valuable collection of drawings, of the late Matthew Duane, Esq; deceased : collected for him, by the late Mr. Hamilton, at Rome : and consists of the undoubted works of the following great Italian Masters, viz. : Raphael, Corregio, Schidoni, A. del Sarto, Titian, P. Veronese, Tintorett, Palma, Carracci, Guido, Guercino, S. Rosa : several fine drawings, framed and glazed : together with a select collection of seventy-two elegant high-finished drawings, by that much esteemed artist Mr. Hussey : being a selection of the most striking efforts of that celebrated Master's genius : which will be sold by auction, (by order of the executor) by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, in Pall Mall, On Tuesday, May 1st, 1787, and the following day : to be viewed two days preceding the sale, which will begin each day at twelve o'clock : catalogues may be had at the Rainbow Coffee House, Cornhill, and in Pall Mall.

4. A catalogue of that superb and well known cabinet of drawings of John Barnard, Esq. late of Berkley-Square, deceased : consisting of the choicest works of all the ancient masters, collected at a great expence from the cabinets of Lord Somers, Arundel, and Cholmondley, Sir Peter Lely, Dr. Mead, Holditch, and Uvedale Price, Esqrs. Mr Muilman, and Vander Dussens, of Amsterdam, Mons. Mariette, of Paris, and many others : among which are many exceeding fine and capital, by Raphael, A. Del Sarto, Titian, M. Angelo, Parmegiano, Corregio, P. Veronese, Bassano, Claude Loraine, Poussin, Rubens, Vandyke, Rembrandt, Berghem, Adrian, Will. V. De Vedel, Potter, Du Jardin, Ruysdale, &c. : which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Greenwood, at his room, in Leicester-Square, on Friday, Feb. 16, 1787, and the seven following evenings : it is presumed, that a more capital collection of the valuable works of the Italian, Dutch, Flemish, French, and English schools, were never offered to the public, or more worthy the attention of the learned connoisseurs.
