This day is published, number XCIV, with a view of the city gates : (to be continued weekly, price six-pence) : the sixth edition of Stow's survey of London and Westminster : and of the borough of Southward : being the best topography of those cities : together with the distinct history of them : in two large volumes, folio : containing their original, antiquity, increase, present state, and government : written at first by John Stow, citizen and native of London ; several times reprinted and augmented, then corrected, and very much enlarged in the year 1720 by J. Strype, M.A. ; and the history and survey now brought down to this present time by careful hands ; illustrated with exact maps of all the wards and out-parishes both of London and Westminister ; with other draughts of the most eminent and public edifices and monuments.
