1. catalogue of the valuable and extensive collection of porcelain and objects of art and vertu, of the Hon. Francis Forbes, deceased, late of Geneva, formerly H.B.M. Minister Plenipotentiary at the Court of Saxony : comprising numerous specimens of fine old Dresden, including a magnificent old centre-piece, services, figures, Berlin, Furstenburg, Frankenthal, Vienna, Oriental, and other porcelain : snuff-boxes, of gold, agate, and enamel : watches, old German clocks, silver figures, glass, carved and gilt decorative furniture, Or-molu work, etc. : which (by order of the executors) will be sold by auction, by Messrs. Christie, Manson & Woods, at their Great Rooms, 8, King Street, St. James's Square, on Wednesday, March 25, 1874, and two following days, at one o'clock precisely.
