Scope and Content:
Maclise writes: "I am very much obliged by your kind present [?] of the Autobiography of Leslie which seems a most readable book and one that I shall peruse with great interest." The present letter was removed from the library's copy of <title render="italic">Autobiographical recollections</title>. Presumably this copy previously belonged to the painter Daniel Maclise.
