- Scope and Content:
- Twelve drawings by Richard Shirley Smith, six of which are cappriccios encompassing the sculptural and architectural elements of the garden. Edition limited to 200 copies; twenty-five copies printed on Vélin Arches rag paper and hand-colored at the press by Shirley Smith, bound in quarter leather in slipcase; 175 copies printed on Zerkall mould-made paper, bound at Smith Settle of Otley in paper-covered boards with linen spine and printed endpapers also designed by Shirley Smith of which this is an unnumbered proof copy, so marked with the Libanus Press blind stamp.
