Scope and Content:
Piozzi thanks Dr. Thackeray for his kindness and for sending poppy syrup, though the vial broke on its way to her home and Mr. Piozzi had to make do with a different and unpleasant sort of poppy syrup. Mr. Piozzi is ill, but not as severely as in the past, however, Mrs. Piozzi tells Dr. Thackeray to be prepared to visit if she suddenly calls. People mentioned: Mr. Piozzi and Mr. Moore.
