- The drawing shows two butterlflies and a snail each near or on a branch of a bush dotted with berries. The butterflies are patterned black and red, and orange and black; no identification is given. At bottom of page: an adapted quotation from Erasmus Darwin's "The Botanic Garden," beginning, "Admire the form of the slow-gliding snail."
