- The image shows a yellow and gray bird perced on a broad leaf, from which hangs a circular nest with two holes in the bottom. No Latin name is given (see Ploceus philippinus). Bottom of page: a quotation from Erasmus Darwin's "The Botanic Garden," beginning, "My plumy pairs, in gay embroidery drest."
