- The image shows the interior of a house, as well as the exterior space behind it. Inside, a man sits next to a boy, surrounded by papers, pots, and fruits. Outside, a women holds a young child on her lap. An image hangs on the wall. Bottom of page: an adapted quotation from the theologian and hymn writer Isaac Watts (1674-1748), from the poem "The Indian Philosopher," beginning, "Behold the venerable Priest, Risin with the orient sun, from rest."
