Scope and Content:
Engravings collected in a contemporary file labeled "Documents & old letters relating to the Carrs: photographs and paintings." The engravings are now removed to a new folder; the original is retained. Subjects depicted include: Chipchase Castle, Northumberland, seat of John Reed; Wollaton, Northamptonshire in 1667; Rushton Hall, Northamptonshire, seat of the Hon. Mr. C. Medlycott; Kirby Hall, Northamptonshire; Bamborough Castle, Northumberland; Heaton Hall, seat of Sir Matthew White Ridley; Tynemouth Priory; Faxton Chapel, Northampton; and Battle Stone, or Percy Cross, Northumberland.
