- Horsley writes about the potential postponement of an upcoming meeting, citing illness. Horsley asks "what has become of the Schools question?" Horsley has mentioned Redgrave's "scheme" to Faed who seemed concerned to "know how members would be ensured their position as hangers, with the same rotative regularity as before." Faed is "sure that the General Body would never agree to have their privileges curtailed one jot on this subject, & his [Faed's] eyes flashed, evidently at the terrible idea of his not having his lawful chance of creating a 'Scotland Yard' upon the walls of the R.A."
