Album of monograms, by an unidentified compiler. On most leaves, the album integrates monograms (and some diecuts) into a framework of watercolors and/or penwork. The sketches range from caricature and humor to picturesque landscape. The album comprises 77 leaves with artwork predominating on recto and many verso sides blank. Date of 1862 given on title page. The creator is not identified. Monograms include those of the Royal Family, including Queen Victoria, and much of the upper English aristocracy.
