Manuscript notebook, fair copy, with calligraphic flourishes, of accounting exercises copied by R. Clement, whose name is inscribed on the front cover. Each section is divided with a calligraphic heading and flourishes. The volume includes lessons on the rule of three, inverse proportion, simple interest, commission, purchase of stocks, "brokage," compound interest, rebate or discounts, barter, profit & loss, and fellowship without time.
