They contain 17 original tipped-in stamps. 100 copies (90 for sale) contain 44 stamps and are housed in a box made by Stephen Byrne replicating a Victorian English postbox. All are bound in quarter cloth and a repeat pattern paper based on a design by Clare Melinsky. The specials contain dummy stamps using unadopted designs by Andrew Davidson & Clare Melinsky. John Lawrence designed a new one for the book, and all three were printed by Juergen Schwarz at YourStamps, Berlin.
