A schematic key to a 360-degree panorama of Messina exhibited at the Leicester Square Panorama, with important buildings and landmarks identified. Text at the bottom of the sheet describes the 1810 skirmish between the (victorious) forces of Major General James Campbell and the French forces of Jacques-Marie, vicomte Cavaignac. The Messina panorama was exhibited in 1811 and 1812. The Flushing in "the upper circle" refers to the Dutch city of Vlissingen. - Subject Terms:
