A catalogue of the valuable and choice collection of Italian, French, Flemish, & Dutch pictures, capital drawings, and some fine prints, cameos and intaglios, of the late John Davenport, Esq., dec. : being a selection of the most perfect cabinet pictures in the several schools, formed with great taste and liberality during his several journies on the continent : comprising the works o Giorgione, Schiavone Paduanino, Domenichino, Carracci, Parmigiano, N. Poussin, Guido, Baroccio, S. Ferato, Rubens, Rembrandt, Wouvermans, Du Jadin, A.V. de Velde, Ostade, Begam Poetemberg, Waterloo, Palamedes : particularly thee exquisite xcabinet pictures by Domenichino : the Musician by G. Douw : and a beautiful picture by Wouverman, from the Orleans' Collection : and a fine portait by Giorgione, in the highest preservation : also a few fine specimens of modern artists : which (by order of the executors), will be sold by auction, without the least reserve, by Mr. Christie, at his great room, Pall Mall, on Friday, February 20, 1801, and following day, at twelve o'clock : to be viewed, and catalogues had at the Rainbow Coffee House, Cornhill, and in Pall Mall.
