A catalogue of a small but valuable collection of Italian, Flemish, and Dutch pictures : chiefly the property of a Gentleman of Fine Taste, lately retired from his residence in London : they comprise St. Christopher, a Carton, by the early master Cimabue : an elegant composition by Titian : a ditto, by P. Veronese : a Pieta by Guido, in his very fine manner : a poetical subject, by S. Rosa : a whole length portrait, and two other fine gallery specimens by Van Dyck : the original landscape, with fighting bulls, by R. di Tivoli, engraved in Boydell's Gallery : a grand landscape, by Rembrandt, with the figures by Teniers, from the Radstock Collection : a beautiful interior by Terberg, and others by Schiavone, Pordenone, Novellara, Carracci, Domenichino, Guercino, Albano, Mola, S. Rosa, Velasquez. G. Poussin, Rubens, Roterhaemer, Van Harp, Teniers, De Nain, Ruysdael, Stoop : also, a few cabinet pictures of the late Hon. Lord Gwydir, which were omitted in the recent sale of the collection from Grimsthorpe Castle : which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, No. 8, King Street, St. James's Square, on Saturday, May the16th, 1829, at one o'clock precisely : may be viewed two days preceding, and catalogues had at Mr. Christie's Office, King Street, St. James's Square.
