Printed form, completed in manuscript: "Police Office, Great Marlborough Street. To the Governor of the House of Correction, [Tothill Fields], or his Deputy. Middlesex, to wit. Permit the bearer [Caroline Hill] to see [Thomas Hill] a Person confined in the said House of Correction. Given under my Hand this [28th] Day of [January] 183[5]. [H.M. Dyer?]" The printed words "Cold Bath" are crossed out, replaced with Tothill Fields in manuscript.
