- A catalogue of the valuable collection of prints, drawings & pictures of the late distinguished artist, Thomas Rowlandson, Esq. ... : the drawings include several of his most celebrated subjects, many of them the originals, from which he made duplicate drawings : the engravings consist of specimens of the Italian, German, Dutch & Flemish schools : including some fine and most rare productions of Marc Antonio, J. Bonasone, Aug. Veneziano, Aeneas Vico, The Carracci, J. Van Meck, M. Zagel, Albert Durer, Lucas Krug, Le Maitre a L'Ecrevisse, the little German Masters, &c. : amongst the Dutch Masters, are some very fine etchings by Rembrandt, with a few drawings by his hand : a large collection of the works of Rubens, &c. &c. : to which is added, several valuable copper plates, etched by himself, including some of his admired caricatures : also, a few valuable paintings, by Andrea del Sarto, Pordonne, Paris Bordone, Marco Ricci, Vernet, Vandyke, Teniers, &c. : which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Sotheby, at his house, Wellington Street, Strand, on Monday, 23d June, 1828, and three following days.
