Title, maker, and date from Henrywood. The firm of Keys & Mountford operated from 1850 to 1857.

One side of the jug depicts a boy climbing a rock face, with bow in hand, flanked by an eagle and the eagle's nest. On the other side, the boy fends off two eagles, one of which guards two chicks in the nest.
