BAC: British Art Center copy: Sporting 1761. Octavo. Original calico-texture deep purple-green cloth, spine faded to brown; blind stamped on front and back covers, gold lettering on spine. Color frontispiece, title-page, 1 plate of a hand-colored aquatint etching, 5 plates of aquatint etchings, list of subscribers. Spine height: 8 inches.
BAC: British Art Center copy: Sporting 1762. Original dark grey boards, rebacked with olive green cloth; paper label on spine with black lettering. Half-title, (no color frontispiece), other 5 plates, list of subscribers. Pasted down inside front cover: "Epsom as it is To-day," from "Horse and hound", May 19, 1917. Pasted down on endpaper: Epsom Races, Summer meeting, June 5th-8th, 1923. Letters from William Woodward to Harry Worcester Smith (Nov. 30, 1934 and Dec. 21, 1934) are tipped in. Spine height: 8 1/8 inches.
