Near the center of the panorama is a depiction of the shopfront of "Wallis's The Original Circulating Library & Reading Room [i.e., the Marine Library] ..." with prints available from Wallis displayed in the front windows. Prints such as these could be borrowed for copying. Many of the works available from the Marine Library, including aquatints, lithographs, and illustrated books, focused on the scenery of Sidmouth and the Devon region.
