BAC: British Art Center has three copies. Copy 1 is the Abbey copy. Bound in three-quarter dark-blue calf and green cloth. Bookplate of Henry Martin Gibbs, Barrow Court, Somerset, 1891. Two added plates in the text: a view of Woodchester Church, at the head of p. 1 of the English text; and Reverses of medals, printed at the foot of the last page of the English text. These plates are not repeated in the French text. Copy 2 bound in contemporary gilt-, blue-, and blind-tooled russia, with gilt doublures and gilt edges. 1794 watermark. Three armorial bookplates: Mathew Wilson; Frances Mary Richardson Currer; and John Etherington Welch Rolls. ALS from James Bain dated March 1709 laid in. Contains the two added plates in the text. Copy 3 is a large paper copy. Bound in three quarter hard grain morocco. Alternating Whatman watermarks with 1794, 1809, and 1810 dates. French letterpress title page bound in at front.
