Original linen-texture dark blue quarter cloth, and original blue and white marbled board covers; white paper label with black and red lettering on spine, top edge gilt, untrimmed. Half-title, frontispiece, title-page, 16 plates of color halftone-photoengravings, 40 plates of halftone-photoengravings, 8 plates of halftone-photoengravings on pale yellow background, 1 plate of a photolithograph (map), newspaper clippings inside front cover. This issue has 13 extra illustrations on 11 of the plates. Most of the plates of monochrome halftone-photoengravings are printed on both sides. Number 96 of 100 copies on hand-made paper. Spine height: 11 7/8 inches.
