Copy 3 is author's proofs of p. 117-142, with Ruskin's corrections and additions. Also 1 sheet of galley proofs, with 1 ms. note in Ruskin's hand.

Vol. 1 was originally issued in 6 parts, 1875-1879. Parts 7-10 (p. 1-204 of v.2) were issued 1882-1886.
