BEIN: Vol. 1 matches Koeman, C. Atlantes Neerlandici, Bl 72, except that frontispiece is misbound before the text proper, the t.p. lacks "Cum Privilegio Sacrae Caesareae Majestatis", as does the t.p. of the 1st part, also the dated privilege is missing, the "Ad lectorem" being bound between them. PLates (37)-(40) are wanting; plates (58) and (59) are misbound (?) one in place of the other. The plan of Bononia (Koeman 11), has a pasted on addition on the left fore-edge showing a continuation of "Conduce a.P. Carmel Scalzi" (no. 95 in the explanation)

Blaeu also published in the same year a complementary work on the Kingdom of Naples and Sicily not part in this set entitled: Theatrum civitatum nec non admirandorum Neapolis et Siciliae regnorum.
