The first leaf bears title within a decorative frame border in pen and black ink. The remaining leaves bear either landscape scenes copied from drawing manuals in pen and black ink (some of these can be traced to specific manuals such as Laurie and Whittle's "Art of Landscape Drawing Made Easy") or watercolors of flowers and decorative patterns copied from other manuals.
