Selected exhibitions: "Color Printing in England, 1486-1870" (Yale Center for British Art, 20 April-25 June, 1978).
BAC : British Art Center has 5 copies, all extra-illustrated. Copy 1 includes 13 original drawings by Stothard and an autograph letter. Copy 1 is inlaid into large paper sheets and bound in 2 volumes by John Bumpus. Copy 2 has the bookplates of Alexander P. Fletcher and C.R.L. Fletcher, as well as the autograph of Roger Senhouse. The text in copy 2 appears within a border ruled in red.
Copy 3, which was bound by S. Kaufmann, has the bookplate of Joseph Grimshire and the autograph of Roger Senhouse. Copy 4 has the autograph of Roger Senhouse. Copy 5, which was bound by Bain, has the bookplate of Stephen Sheldon.
BAC : In copy 1 the half-title is misbound after p. xxiv.
BAC : Copies 1, 2, and 4 have portions of the original wrappers bound in.
BAC : Copies 2, 3, and 4 have 2 separate advertisements at end: one of [2] p., published by Longman, Brown, Green, and Longmans, and another of 16 p., dated January, 1852, and published by Mr. Murray.
