- Bound in contemporary roan and patterned boards.
Manuscript poem, in pen and black ink, illustrated with full-page silhouette illustrations cut from glazed black paper. Each silhouette is composed of multiple pieces of paper neatly overlapped to give the appearance of a single cut sheet. The illustrations show figures among contemporary furnished domestic interiors or outdoors, among natural elements. Each of the nine silhouettes faces a page of verse. The text is apparently original and unpublished, and rehashes racist stereotypes about Romani people. - Subject Terms:
