Edited by Johannes Sulpitius Verulanus.
Editio princeps.
Imprint from ISTC. Printer also recorded as Georg Herolt, and Printer of Vitruvius, with date ranging between 1483 and 1490.
Undated. Evidently printed after the accession of Pope Innocent VIII on Aug. 29, 1484, since Sulpicio's dedication includes a list of events under Innocent VIII's reign. Probably printed after Aug. 11, 1486, when a treaty between the Pope and the King of Naples was ratified, because Sulpicio credits Innocent with the conclusion of a war. Printed no later than Aug. 16, 1487, the acquisition date inscribed on a copy bought in Rome by the Archdeacon of Richmond, John Shirwood.
Signatures: [1⁴, 2-4⁸ 5-7⁶ 8⁸ 9⁶ 10-12⁸ 13⁶ 14⁸].
