Inscribed in graphite, center right: "The curtains are raised or lowered by | the string which hangs down by the | side- they ae of a color rather | darker than the green of the walls. | The case is while with lihts [...] | painted green. - In the larger | room marked A on the plan, the | preparations of which figures are | upon Tables & covered with a glass | case over which is drawn a green | side covering - they are laid upon a lilac silk cushion with white | folded silk around them. -"; inscribed in graphiter center: "In this sketch the Curtain which hangs | down the side is omitted.-"; inscribed in graphite, lower right: "One of the Cases enclising the preparations | the frame and back is of an imitation of mahogany. | around the preparation, white silk is laid in | folds- the back lets out - a small drawer | underneath contains an account of the references | marked in the drawings hung over each preparation"; inscribed in graphite, upper right: "I/33"
