"This set [1722], which was first issued in 1939, existed in three versions, but only for two years in each version. This is the third version, with plastic drums, extra frogging on the drummers and the substitution of a tenor drummer for one of the side drummers of the previous version. ... The refurbishment of the band was part of the reissue of all the Britains bands in 1956 ..."--Opie.
