A descriptive catalogue of a genuine and capital collection of Italian pictures, never before seen in this country, and by the most celebrated masters : particularly of the Venetian and Lombard schools, from the earliest era of painting, to the present times : being the sole and genuine property of a Gentleman, long resident in Italy, and a great lover of the art, who has left off collecting : containing among several other rare and valuable acquisitions, as particularly specified in the catalogue : the entire and genuine collection of pictures of the esteemed connoisseur Monsignor Negri, late Bishop of Parenze, in Ilaria, collected by him chiefly at Rome, and purchased of his executors by the present proprietor : the who lately imported from Italy, and brought, in the same state, to the Great Rooms, formerly occupied by the Royal Academy, no. 125, Pall Mall, where they will be exhibited and sold by private contract, on December 10th, 1789, and following days (Sundays excepted) from ten o'clock in the morning, till five in the afternoon : sold at the place of exhibition.
