Carolina Boyle (1803-1883), the daughter of Hon. Sir Courtenay Boyle and Carolina Amelia Poyntz, was a maid of honor to the dowager queen Adelaide, in which capacity she would not have entered into commercial ventures. The current prints were thus privately printed.
