Notes:
The first and second books were probably first published earlier in the century, and reissued in 1661. At least the title page of the first book was by Francis Delaram, and at least some plates in the first two books were based on illustrations in the Hortus Floridus of Crispin van de Passe. For the 1661 reissue, John Dunstall made additions to the last two books.--Cf. British Museum catalogue; Croft-Murray, Edward. Catalogue of British drawings. London, 1960, v. 1, p. 301-304; Hind, A.M. Engraving in England. Pt. II. Cambridge, 1955, p. 235-236; and Corbett, Margery. Engraving in England. Pt. III. Cambridge, 1964, p. 27-28.
