A reissue of the original edition of 1827 (with its 17 plates) together with the addition of printed offprints and extracts, from April 1826 to 20 March 1852, related to Trench's plans for the Thames Quay. The additional material includes 8 folding plates. A printed contents page, bound between half-title and title, notes: "The book printed in 1826 contained 176 pages, and 17 plates, to which the following additions were made in 1852." The additional material has varying imprints.
