...in the Garden of Versaills Is a pleasant circular Grove, containing 922 Basons of Rockwork from whence rises as many spouts of Water between the Trees. Also 4 Rustic Fountains with Groups of Children of Gilt Metal, and Water Spouts which fall down in Sheets over the Basons. This charming place has 3 Allys with Cascades, and in each of them 3 ranges of Water Spouts amounting to 75 in Number which with great Art varying their form 4 lines and produce a most admirable effect / ...Ce Bosquet est de forme circulair moities en Amphitheatre de gazon avec des partiques de verdure jous les quels sont place's 22 Bassins de rocaille d'ou selevent autant de Jets deau. Il y a dans le fond 4 Fontains rustiques avec des grouppes d'enfant de metal dore, et trois enfoncements de trois rangs de Jets d'eau au nombre de 75, qui changent de forme ou de decoration 4 fois.
